10" by a producer named as 2000 on the delectable Get Wet records. "Crisis" opens proceedings with helicopter blade synths rotating against a tough 2-step rhythm and disorientating whistles. Very future-funk, garage centric but experimental enough to keep the sound obsessives happy. On the flip, "Raindance" keeps the eys on the future and the feet in bouncey 2-step beats as another tour de force of sound design unravels before our ears. Squelchy sine waves, catchy vocal snatches and more tumbling, cascading synthesis which turns heads and contorts bodies as its rushes by. Understated but really quite phenomenal, one of those secret 10"s (arriving with no hype or preamble) that'll end up in your bag as a proper weapon. TIP!
